Cyclone Ului!!

Ului is a category 2 cyclone; we are all ready so bring it on!! I wish I could have gone riding on my bike today as I had planned to do but alas had to get the house and garden furniture safe & secure. Sande from A Gift Wrapped life will keep thinking I have all these excuses to get out of our joint fitness regime (Sorry Sande).

My wish list would include this rain coat!

If it wasn't so windy I would love this brolly!

And definitely these cute comfy wellingtons! I forgot where I found picture sorry!!
Have a great weekend what ever your plans, we have the monopoly & Uno at the ready with torches candles & lots of chocolate!! Yummy :)

H Elaine
I've been thinking about all you girls north of the border.. seems every time I want to travel there are cyclones .. floods etc.. hahaha I'll have to stop thinking about it so you girls can get a break!!

Take care.... and hope it just blows over soon ..[oops] xx Julie

Hi Elaine
Just checking back in to see how you went with the cyclone.. I've missed the news lately but thought I heard it was quite severe... at least severe for our part of the world... hope you survived unscathed.. xxx Julie

Thanks every one for thinking of me I am okay we lost power for 3 days all back on along with Internet the phone lines are still down. Only damage we had was the gate broke, garden flooded but didnt get in the house.
Lots of trees down & some on peoples homes (so sad) some of the suburbs further north copt it more.
Thanks again for all your wishes xxx

Sande is thinking she is a bit behind as well with a hip injury but the chiroractic has me getting back to cycle shape soon. Hoping this week to get back on slow and steady. I am so impatient to get this going! But you are doing well so we will all catch up on miles when the weather gets a bit better. Just happy you are joining my Cycle Challange and a virtual cycle friend. XO
