House Build!

My house build is so many weeks behind with all this crazy weather that we have been having, I have no good pictures to show, not that I am complaining, I am so lucky to even have a house with cyclone Yasi just passing to the north.

I just wanted to share with you one of the lights I ordered, that has just arrived for over the dinning table I have yet to find: so hard to find a round white table to sit six!

Just wanted to share with you something pretty to look at!!

Elaine :)

& pretty to look at it is!! I dream of decent lighting in our own home. We've had one Army house (actually several now i think of the horror) with . . . fluro lighting in the lounge & dining, way to set a mood for entertaining!! Hideous, i mean, like a garage?? Love Posie

First and foremost I'm so glad that you are OK.

Secondly, this is such a gorgeous fixture and will cast a beautiful light across your room

Thirdly, I'm truly enamoured by round dining tables and wish you luck in finding yours.

HI Elaine, I'm glad that you're safe and there is nothing wrong with wishing the cyclone away from you. Pretty lamps are good to look at. x

I'm so sorry to hear that Australia has been having such a rough time. Hope all of your family and friends are o.k. Came across your blog and enjoyed the photo of your new lamp. I also like the clean lines and simplicity of your blog title. Have a wonderful Thursday!

What a gorgeous light!
Australia sure has been battered this year with all this crazy weather. Good to hear that you are safe.
We have friends who live in Qld,who are all alright, but most of my family live in Sydney.

Great to have stumbled on your blog!
Have a great weekend.

I've just found your lovely blog.
Great light fixture ... and good to hear that you are safe!
We've been hearing the news about all the nasty weather that's been hitting Oz... you must feel so helpless when a natural disaster strikes like that.
Stay safe.. I am now a follower.

Elaine , thank you so much for following my blog. I am thrilled to have a peek into someone's daily life and talents in Australia. My husband and I travelled there our first year of marriage. We also went to Tasmania and hiked in Cradle Mountain Park. We were caught in a blizzard! Continued hope all is well with the wild weather everyone is experiencing.

Hi Elaine,
So nice to meet you on my (practically brand new blog.
And thank you for your lovely kind offer of assistance, so as soon as the road is open to Mackay, I'll be down with the Dodgy Brothers (the chihuahuas), the 16 year old Bichons, and the four birds.
Should we bring our food?

All is fine here, hope it doesn't rain, I'm sick of mopping up water upstairs - we still have gaping holes in the roof.

Love you blog, I'll be visiting again.

Your new light fixture is fabulous! Different enough without being strange, just really glam! Can't wait to see what you do with the space!
